KABUL (SW) – The Afghanistan Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation has warned of the possibility of heavy rain and snowfall with flash floods in 22 provinces of the country.
Met Department stated that on Saturday, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Balkh, Baghlan, Panjshir, Kapisa, Nuristan, Uruzgan, Daikundi, Ghor, Herat, Farah, Badghis, Jowzjan, Faryab, Sar-e pol, Bamyan, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Samangan and including Salang in Parwan.
The Department has predicted the amount of rainfall between 10 and 35 mm and the amount of snowfall between 15 and 50 cm in different parts of these provinces.
