Four development projects launched in Samangan

SAMANGAN (SW) – The local officials in Samangan have launched on four development projects in this province worth more than six million afghanis.

Akhtar Mohammad Mesbah, the head of Samangan rural rehabilitation and development, during the opening and operation of these projects, spoke about its importance and emphasized on the maintenance of these projects.

According to the director of rural rehabilitation and development of Samangan, these projects worth six million and 174 thousand afghanis have been launched in four villages of Aybak city, the center of this province.

These projects include the construction of a water reservoir with a purification system with a capacity of 200 cubic meters of water, the construction of a culvert with a length of 12 meters, the construction of 105 meters of paved canal and the covering of 64 meters of the canal with a concrete plate, which is located in the villages of “Bala Ghosh Asiyab, Lower Ghosh Asiyab, Bagh Sahar and Imam Tirmezi Mosque” in the city of Aybak.

About 1,227 families will benefit b these projects. Villagers who will benefit from these projects say that they were facing many problems due to the lack of safe drinking water and their problems will be solved with the implementation of these projects.
