Feud in a mosque claims two lives in Kapisa

KAPISA (SW) – The security officials of Kapisa say that a clash occurred due to a verbal dispute over the performance of “Khatm-e-Quran” in this province, as a result of which two people were killed and four others were injured.

The spokesman of the Kapisa police command, Abdul Fattah Fayez, told Salam Watandar that the incident took place on Sunday night in “Firozi” village, Najrab District.

Faiz added that a person named Aslam was killed in the exchange of fire from both sides and his father died after hearing the news of his son’s murder.

The spokesperson of the Kapisa police chief also said that three people, including a woman, were injured in this clash.

He said that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently being interrogated.
