Afghanistan exports maiden consignment of intravenous fluid

KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced that Afghanistan has exported a consignment of intravenous (IV) fluid bags to Iraq for the first time.

On Monday, in a post on its official X account, the ministry stated that 1.8 million IV fluid bags have been exported to Iraq.

The MoPH further mentioned that the IV serum was produced by the National Shifa Pharmaceutical.

According to the Ministry of Public Health, the total value of the exported IV fluid bags to Iraq amounts to $600,000.
