JALALABAD CITY (SW) – Nangarhar officials say that a mother has given birth to quintuplets. The infants are included one girl and four boys.
The babies were born on Saturday, in the Nangarhar Specialized Hospital.
This mother is a resident of the 5th district of Jalalabad city, the center of Nangarhar province, according to Naqibullah Rahimi, the head of the media department of the Nangarhar Public Health Directorate.
The doctors at Nangarhar Provincial Hospital said that the condition of the mother and her babies is satisfactory, adding that the babies are under serious care in the emergency department of newborn infants.
Previously, Another mother in Maidan Wardak province also gave birth to quadruplets in a normal way.
