KABUL (SW) – WFP urgently needs World Food Programme (WFP) in Afghanistan has stated that this programme urgently needs US$760 million to continue its operation for the next six months.

On Sunday, WFP wrote on the social media platform X that 16 million people do not know where their next meal will come from.

This programme said 4 million children, breastfeeding and pregnant women are malnourished.

Earlier, WFP announced that this programme is facing a severe lack of funds to support the needy in Afghanistan, and if this programme does not get the funds it needs, will leave the country.
