Empowering progress: 26,326 women join the workforce in public, private offices

KABUL (SW) – In the last nine months, nearly 110,000 people have been employed in public and private offices.

The Ministry of Martyrs, Dicabled, and Public Affairs and Labour of the de-facto government of Afghanistan has announced that since the beginning of the solar year, a total of 109,824 citizens have been employed in both government offices and the private sector.

Out of the total employed citizens, the ministry reports that 26,326 are women.

Additionally, work permits have been issued to 1,489 foreign citizens, according to the Ministry of Martyrs, Dicabled, and Public Affairs and Labour.
