Chickenpox spreading in Parwan, Panjshir and Kapisa

CHARIKAR (SW) – A number of villagers in Parwan, Kapisa and Panjshir provinces, whose children have contracted “chickenpox”, told Salam Watandar that this disease has been spreading among the residents of these three provinces for some time and has caused concerns.

Concerned about the spread of this disease among all children in these provinces, they added that the government should take serious preventive measures to prevent the spread of this disease.

Abdul Qadir, a resident of Parwan, whose children have contracted this disease, says: “I have seven children. Chickenpox is an annoying disease for children. This disease is contagious and spreads from one child to another, and the spread of this disease is more in schools.”

Qadira, a resident of Panjshir, whose children have been infected with this disease, also says: “My two children were infected with this disease, they were admitted to the hospital, and they have recovered now. They were very annoyed. They had fever, runny nose, sore throat, marks appeared on their body and other symptoms of cold. Our demand from Panjshir Public Health Directorate is that this disease should be prevented and the people should be informed.”

Meanwhile, Sayed Anas and Shadab, residents of Kapisa and Panjshir, whose family members have been infected with chickenpox, say that this disease is very annoying and they are worried about contracting this disease themselves. They want the officials of the public health departments of these two provinces to find a solution to prevent the spread of this disease.

“My elder brother, who is older than me, has chickenpox, he is even crying,” Sayed Anas said. “I have taken him to the doctor three times, it has spread from his classmates. Our request to the Department of Public Health is to stop this disease.”

Shadab said: “It is a very dangerous disease. When it appears in one’s skin, one becomes depressed and sad. When a person goes to school, someone gets it.”

Seyed Hossein Seyar, head of communicable diseases of Parwan Public Health Department, Khaja Agha Ghafouri, Deputy Director of Panjshir Public Health Department and Lalagal Qadri, head of the media department of Kapisa Public Health Department, confirmed the increase in the number of people suffering from this disease. They told Salam Watandar that in order to prevent the spread Most of this disease has preventive measures.

Seyed Hossein Seyar says: “There has been an increase in cases of chickenpox throughout Parwan. The Department of Public Health has teams in this area that go to the field and evaluate the patients closely. Some medicines are recommended to increase their resistance.”

Khawaja Agha Ghafouri said: “We have 77 cases of chickenpox in Panjshir province. If they get sick, they should go to health centers immediately. We have the necessary medicine in our health centers.”

Lalagul Qadri said: “In Kapisa province, since the beginning of the year, we have had 66 people infected with smallpox.”

According to doctors, the reason for the increase in the number of chickenpox patients is the existence of its history among family members, the weakness of the individual’s immune system, unhealthy nutrition and lack of hygiene. According to them, if people’s awareness is not raised to prevent this disease, this disease will spread more.
