KABUL (SW) – The Islamic Emirate forces and Iranian border guards have exchanged fire, said sources on Monday.
Local sources in Nimroz told Salam Watandar that this clash took place today late on Sunday at the Pul-e-Abresham point on the border between Afghanistan and Iran.
The sources add that as a result of this conflict, an Islamic Emirate force member was injured and now scattered shots are heard from the site.
The sources have not said anything about the casualties of the Iranian border guards.
The local officials of Nimroz have not yet commented on this matter.
So far, the cause of this conflict has not been clarified.
