Karzai blames Pakistan’s past policies for insecurity in the country

KABUL (SW) – Former president Hamid Karzai has blamed Pakistan’s past policies for insecurity and instabilities in the country.

Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, said this in response to the meeting of the National Security Council of Pakistan and the statement issued after this meeting. He said that the current situation and insecurity in Afghanistan is the result of the policies of the government of Pakistan.

“The people of Pakistan are the neighboring brothers of Afghanistan; But the current situation and insecurity of Pakistan is mostly the result of the policies of the government of Pakistan.”

The former president has asked Pakistan to think deeply about its policies of the past several decades and change them in order to fight insecurity effectively.

Hamid Karzai has emphasized that Pakistan should refrain from threats and coercion and establish good relations with Afghanistan for peace and stability in the region.
