MONITORING (SW) -Heather Barr, Associate women’s rights director and former Afghanistan researcher at the Human Rights Watch has welcomed Germany’s new plan to transfer vulnerable Afghans.
She thanked German Foreign Minister for the new plan for the monthly transfer of 1,000 vulnerable Afghan citizens.
Heather Barr said that it is time for other countries to follow Germany’s method of transferring vulnerable Afghans, especially women’s rights defenders.
It should be remembered that last week the German Foreign Ministry announced a plan based on which, until 2025, Berlin will transfer 1,000 citizens at risk with their families from Afghanistan to Germany every month.
