The US urged to release Afghanistan’s state reserves

KABUL (SW) – Dozens of protesters took to the streets on Sunday demanding the US to release Afghanistan’s state reserves for the Islamic Emirate.

The protesters gathered near the US embassy in Kabul. Organizers of the rally said the Islamic Emirate wanted good relations based on mutual respect with the world. They emphasized that Islamic countries have a responsibility to recognize the rule of the Islamic Emirate.

Protesters also called on the United States not to interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs under the control of the Islamic Emirate.

It should be noted that with the fall of the previous government, the United States has freezed the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Afghanistan worth $ 9.4 billion. The US Treasury Department has emphasized that it will not allow the Taliban access to the funds.
