In a post published on X on Saturday (May 2), the ARCS President discussed the project during a meeting with Richard Lindsay, the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan.

According to the organization, the hospital will have the capacity to treat 2,000 children with congenital heart defects each year.

Lindsay also reaffirmed Britain’s continued humanitarian assistance to the ARCS.

During the meeting, both sides also held comprehensive discussions on supporting internally displaced families and returnees from neighboring countries, as well as on expanding humanitarian assistance.
