Parwan records 118 traffic incidents in 11 months

CHARIKAR CITY (SW) – Parwan officials say that in the last 11 months, at least 118 traffic incidents have occurred in this province.

Abdul Hamid Mohammadi, Head of Traffic Incident Investigation in Parwan Traffic Management, tells Salaam Watandar that 41 people have been killed and 246 others injured as a result of the traffic incidents in the province.

He emphasizes that most of the traffic incidents in Parwan have occurred due to non-observance of traffic rules and neglect of drivers.

According to the statistics of the General Directorate of Traffic Police of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, during the last 10 months, 3045 traffic incidents were recorded in Afghanistan.
