Maidan Wardak traffic incident results in 3 deaths, Injuries 3

MAIDAN WARDAK (SW) – Three people have died, and three others were injured in a traffic incident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, according to officials from the Maidan Wardak Security Command.

The incident occurred on Friday, February 2, in the Sayed Abad district of Maidan Wardak, resulting from the collision between a Corolla-type car and a 580-type bus.

The wounded have been taken to Ghazni Provincial Hospital and their condition is reported to be critical.

The incident is attributed to the drivers’ carelessness and excessive speed.

This incident follows another recent traffic incident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, where six people were injured as a result of a separate collision.
