A bridge will be built over the Amu River in Takhar

TAKHAR (SW) – The local officials in Takhar, say that a bridge will be built over the Amu River at the personal expense of the residents of Darqad and Khawaja Bahauddin districts of this province.

This bridge will be built at a cost of 4.5 million Afghanis, According to the officials.

MohammadAref Aref, the spokesman of Takhar province, says that, this bridge will connect the “Katakjar” village in Khawaja Bahauddin district and “Arpali” village in Darqad district.

He adds that with the building of this bridge, the transportation problems of the residents of these two villages, which they have been facing for years will be solved.
