Afghan embassy in Madrid acknowledges liasion with the Islamic Emirate

KABUL (SW) – The Embassy of Afghanistan in Madrid, Spain has said in a press release that it is in liason with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The embassy wrote on its Facebook page on Friday that it is interacting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide consular services to the Afghans in Spain.

It is stated in the press release that the documents are being sent from the Afghan embassy and related consulates in the Spanish capital Madrid to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul and this process is going on normally.

The statement said: “This embassy represents the country and its people, and for the purpose of solving the problems in providing the best and timely consular services to you dear citizens; this embassy is interacting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan in consular affairs and the confirmation letters of the consular documents are sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul as usual.”

Before this, the Afghan Embassy in the Netherlands also said in a press release that it is in interaction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul.

At the same time, a source in the Afghan embassy in Ankara, Turkey, also said that the Turkish government has accepted the new diplomat of the Islamic Emirate to take charge.

It is worth noting that in the last two years, a number of neighboring countries have handed over the embassies and consulates of Afghanistan to the representatives of the Islamic Emirate.
