KABUL (SW) – At least two gold miners have died in Badakhshan, said an official.
The local officials of Badakhshan say that two miners have died due to the landslide of a gold mine in this province on Saturday.
Muazuddin Ahmadi, Director of Information and Culture of Badakhshan, said that the incident took place in a gold mine in the village of Qatarbid, Yawan district of the province.
The director of information and culture of Badakhshan said that a miner was also injured in the incident. Ahmadi said that after four hours of effort, they pulled out the bodies from under the dirt and stones.
