PUL-E-ALAM (SW) – Locals in Logar have reported suspected drones hovering over the skies last night.

A number of residents of Pul-e-Alam, the capital of Logar province, have reported that drones have been hovering over the 203 – Mansouri Corps in the province. They say the planes, which are unknown and suspicious, patrolled the area last night.

Jan Mohammad, a resident of Pul-e-Alam, told Salam Watandar that around one o’clock last night, several planes patrolled the Corps camp, which were then attacked by the forces of the Islamic Emirate with light and heavy weapons. According to him, the incident lasted for about half an hour.

Meanwhile, Rafiullah Samim, Logar’s director of information and culture, confirmed the incident and told Salam Watandar that the forces of the Islamic Emirate had attacked the planes and prevented them from patrolling.

Logar’s director of information and culture denies rumors that the Islamic Emirate forces were targeted by the drones.

In recent weeks, residents have reported similar incidents of suspicious and unmanned aircrafts in some provinces of the country. Residents of Mazar-e-Sharif recently reported seeing Uzbek planes in the port of Hairatan, but so far these reports have not been officially confirmed.
