Pakistan bombs migrants’ camps in Khost

KHOST CITY (SW) – Authorities in Khost have confirmed that Pakistani forces have bombed the migrants’ camps in the province.

Khost security officials confirm that Pakistani troops have bombed four villages in the Spiri district of the province.

Mostaghfar Gurbaz, a spokesman for the Khost Police Command, told Salam Wtandar that the attack took place last night (Friday, April 16) at the areas from migrants from Waziristan were living.

The spokesman for the Khost Police Command added that the villages of Mandeh, Amir Sapar, Pesi Milli and Shakuni had been bombed. He emphasized that the attack also left casualties, but its statistics are not yet clear.

Locals, meanwhile, told Salam Watandar that at least 30 civilians had been killed or wounded in the attack and that many homes had been destroyed.

Pakistani officials have not yet commented.
