Muttaqi dubs OIC meeting on Afghanistan as fruitful

KABUL (SW) – Amir Khan Muttaghi, interim head of the Islamic Emirate’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had dubbed the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Afghanistan as fruitful.

Upon return from Islamabad after attending this meeting, Muttaqi hailed the establishment of the humanitarian assistant fund for Afghanistan and appointment of a special representative for Afghanistan. He emphasized in another part of his speech that the Islamic Emirate’s relationship with the world is normal, and many countries wanted to interact with Islamic Emirate.

“All promises have been collaborated,” he added. “A special fund was created at the IOC conference, a specific representative appointed for Afghanistan’s affairs, which means that they may act as per their promises.”

The head of the MOFA said that the Islamic Emirate is committed to implementing its obligations and would not be used against anyone. He added that the Islamic Emirate has decisively acted against the ISIL and has dismantled it.

The Islamic Cooperation Organization’s meeting on Afghanistan was hosted last day by Pakistan. Humanitarian assistance to citizens of Afghanistan was among the topics discussed at the meeting.
