KABUL (SW) – The Daesh terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the Sunday’s deadly bombing at the entrance of Eid Gah Mosque in Kabul.
In a statement posted on the Amaq propaganda site, it said one of the Daesh members, ‘Misbah al-Kunari’ carried out this suicide attack.
A day earlier, the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan condemned Sunday’s attack near the Eid Gah Mosque in Kabul.
In a tweet, the UNAMA noted that the explosion near the entrance of the Eid Gah Mosque reportedly killed and injured a number of people.
At least eight people were killed and 20 others wounded when a bomb went off near the entrance of the Eidgah Mosque in Kabul.
The attacks was widely condemned in Afghanistan and abroad.
People had gathered at the mosque for a memorial service for the late mother of Zabihullah Mujahid, the deputy minister of information and culture for the Taliban government who is also the Taliban’s longtime spokesman.
