Business institute set on fire in Nangarhar

KABUL (SW) – Unknown attackers have torched the ‘Peace and Freedom’ business institute in Nangarhar province.

According to the governor’s office, unknown individuals set fire to the “Peace and Freedom” business institute in Momand Dara district of the province last night and fled the area. It said in a statement that as a result of this fire, two classes and equipment of this institute were burnt.

The governor’s media office in Nangarhar province said that the authorities had contained the fire at the time and that efforts were being made to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the fire.

The media office of the governor of Nangarhar also added that the enemies of science and development have set the fire. The institute is located in the ​​Dokka area of Momand Dare district of Nangarhar province.

No individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for setting the institute on fire.

About two years ago, Emal Khan Baba High School in the same district was set on fire by unknown individuals.

Nangarhar is one of the most insecure provinces in the east of the country. Pro-Daesh and Taliban militants are active in the province.
