Prime Minister of Pakistan to visit Kabul this week

KABUL (SW) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan would visit Kabul later this week to discuss the Afghan peace process, bilateral ties, officials confirmed on Saturday.

Graan Hewad, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the visiting premier of Pakistan would share his views with the Afghan leadership about Islamabad’s role in the pace process.

He added that President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani had extended the invitation to Prime Minister Khan during their telephonic conversation on Sep. 25.

This would be Khan’s maiden visit to Kabul upon taking charge as prime minister of Pakistan.
