Officials of the Kunduz Security Command announced that a female doctor was killed by an unknown person with a knife in the Imam Sahib District of the province.
Jumauddin Khaksar, Spokesperson for the Kunduz Security Command, said that the incident took place on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the fourth security district of Imam Sahib.
According to him, the doctor was attacked while she was walking home from her pharmacy after finishing work, and upon reaching home, she was attacked with a knife and died.
Kunduz security officials added that investigations have been started to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the incident.
