GHAZNI CITY (SW) – Officials from the Ghazni Police Command, report that two people have lost their lives and 40 others have been injured in traffic accidents in the province.
Khaled Sarhadi, spokesperson for the Police Command in Ghazni, said that these incidents occurred during the three days of the recent Eid al-Fitr.
According to him, most of the injured individuals were young people.
The Ghazni Police Command’s information indicates that the majority of traffic accidents in the past three days were caused by the negligence of drivers.
Inadequate adherence to traffic regulations and poor road conditions are also considered primary factors contributing to traffic accidents in Afghanistan.
