Similarly, Zaryalai from Laghman province described how recent flash floods have destroyed his home: “Our situation is very bad, and we are unable to rebuild our rooms. We haven’t received any help yet; we want the Islamic Emirate to collaborate with us in rebuilding our homes.”

He added, “As per the decree of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership, we provide 100,000 Afghanis for each martyr’s family and 50,000 Afghanis for each injured person. Efforts are being made to extend assistance to those provinces still in need.”
Recently, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees reported that over 10,000 houses have been destroyed in northern, northeastern, and western Afghanistan due to recent flash floods.
