KABUL (SW) – Indrika Ratwatte, Deputy Special Representative in Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), met with Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the cabinet of ministers of the Islamic Emirate.
The Arg noted on its X account that the UN envoy assured him of the UN’s continued support for Afghanistan.
It is further said Ratwatte asked the Islamic Emirate to cooperate in delivering aid to the deserving citizens of Afghanistan.
It cited the UN saying the forced deportation of Afghan immigrants from neighboring countries is against international immigration laws.
In the press release, it is stated that Abdul Salam Hanafi, in this meeting, assured the cooperation of the Islamic Emirate with international organizations and institutions to deliver humanitarian aid to the needy.
