KABUL (SW) – The United States World Food Programme (WFP) in Afghanistan stated that Herat’s earthquake survivors are currently living in tents.
On Wednesday, WFP wrote on X, saying these earthquake victims have recently been hit by a snow storm.
The World Food Program added that it has provided emergency food aid to more 3000 affected families in this province.

Recently, a number of earthquake victims in Herat province have complained also about the negligence of the de-facto government and aid agencies in the reconstruction of houses and provision the educational and medical facilities.
They said that more than five months have passed since the deadly earthquake in Herat, but they are still living under tents and are deprived of other life facilities.
