LOGAR (SW) – Officials in Logar province have confirmed the incident in which a man shot and killed six members of his own family.
The incident occurred on the evening of Friday, in Bala-Deh village of Khushi district.
The perpetrator, identified as Safdar Ali, reportedly used weapons to fatally shoot his wife, a four-year-old child, his uncle, and three cousins.
Ahmadullah Anas, the spokesperson for the Logar Security Command, informed Salam Watandar that the motive behind this act was family violence.
Security forces promptly detained Safdar Ali following the incident.
Investigations are currently underway to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident, according to Anas.
