Grow beard from now onward, justice ministry advises journalists

KABUL (SW) – Mohammad Hashem Shahid Waror, the Head of Afghanistan’s Invitation and Guidance Directorate of the Ministry of Justice, has advised journalists to grow beards. He stated on Tuesday, in a one-day reform and training seminar held for missionaries by the Ministry of Education in Kabul.

220 missionaries participated In this seminar.

Taking videos by the media is a “major sin”, Mohammad Hashem Shahid Waror said. “We invite media representatives to grow beards and not waste their time taking videos; filming is a major sin. We ask Allah to grant you a halal sustenance.”

Meanwhile, the officials of the Ministry of Education have said that calling on the foundation of prophetic ethics will strengthen the current system.

Habibullah Agha, Acting Minister of Education, has asked the missionaries of this ministry not to make themselves their rulers When inviting people to religious matters.

“We have been given a major duty to invite, and to invite in a way that the prophet did and not to imagine sovereignty during the invitation and not to make ourselves the ruler when we invite,” he added.
