MSF welcomes the first babies of 2024 in Afghanistan

KABUL (SW) – Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has welcomed the first babies of 2024 born in the hospitals related to this organization.

Zubair, a baby boy at 12:02 a.m. on January 1st in Khost hospital, as well as twin girls, Hamida and Pamida/Paymana, were born at 12:48 a.m. in the same hospital.

Additionally, another baby boy yet to be named, was born at 12:10 a.m. in Helmand province, according to the organization.

“Congrats to the proud mothers,” MSF wrote on its X platform on Tuesday, January 2.
