KHOST (SW) – A man has reportedly killed five members of his wife’s family in Khost province, officials confirmed.
Tahir Ahrar, the spokesman of the Khost Security Command, told Salam Watandar that a man has shot and killed his father-in-law, mother-in-law, two of his sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
The incident took place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, in Narizi village of Tani district of Khost, he said.
The accused person has been apprehended by the security forces of this district and handed over to judicial institutions, Ahrar added.
According to Ahrar, the accused person is 33 years old and has confessed to his crime during the initial investigation.
The motive behind this incident is not yet clear.
