Over 200,000 Afghans returned back from Pakistan

MONITORING (SW) – A total of 220,398 Afghan migrants have been returned to their country so far, reported Pakistan’s state broadcaster, Radio Pakistan.

The repatriation of illegal foreign nationals including Afghans to their homeland is continuing and thousands of Afghan nationals are returning to Afghanistan via Torkham and Chaman crossing on daily basis, it said.

The RP said the transit camps equipped with all facilities have also been established in various districts for their temporary accommodation.

Pakistan began forceful repatriation of the Afghan refugees on November 01.
