Afghanistan exports $ 1.85 billion worth of goods

KABUL (SW) – Afghanistan exported one billion and 85 million dollars worth of goods this year, said an official statement.

Thi Office of the Economic Affairs Division of the Cabinet of Ministers said this on Tuesday. It said that with the continuation of the current situation, the amount of Afghanistan’s exports will reach two billion dollars by the end of the year and will be twice the last year.

It described the increase in Afghanistan’s exports during this period as an unprecedented step in the history of the country’s trade. 97 percent of Afghanistan’s export goods were exported to 10 countries in the region, including Iran, Pakistan, China, Tajikistan, India, and the United Arab Emirates.

Afghanistan’s export goods include fresh and dry fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants and minerals.
