Local Islamic Emirate official killed in road accident

GHAZNI (SW) – A senior local Islamic Emirate official got killed in a road accident in Ghazni province, confirmed officials. 

The local officials of Ghazni say that last evening, the 4 Runner type car of Seyed Pir Agha, one of the senior commanders of the Islamic Emirate, deviated from the road and overturned in the Kotel Roza area of Ghazni city.

As a result of this incident, the commander of the Islamic Emirate lost his life and three of his guards were wounded.

Hafiz Omar Ghaznavi, the spokesman of the governor of Ghazni, confirmed this and told Salaam Watandar that Seyyed Pir Agha had just returned from the Hajj and was on his way to Ghazni from Kabul.

Kotel Roza is one of the most vulnerable and dangerous areas on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, which has witnessed bloody traffic incidents.
