Couple arrested in Kunduz after ‘escaping’ from home

KUNDUZ (SW) – The Islamic Emirate authorities in Kunduz have arrested a young couple on charge of ‘escaping’ from home.

Officials in Kunduz say that the forces of the fifth security district of Kunduz city have arrested Parviz, a resident of “Mola Ghafoor” street located in the fourth district of this city, on the charge of taking away his fiancee from her home. This girl’s name is “Shabana” and she is a resident of the “first block” of Kunduz city.

The security officials in Kunduz add that Parvez, who was engaged to another girl, fled from his home to Balkh province four days ago, and after a few days came back to Kunduz and was arrested.

According to the officials, this boy and girl were under the pursuit of security agencies and were arrested around 7:00 am today from “Molla Ghafoor” street in Kunduz city.

Officials say that the two have confessed to their crime and after the first investigations, they will be handed over to the relevant institutions.
