Meanwhile, Kunduz police spokesman, Enamauddin Rahmani said the deceased traffic warden was abducted and shot dead by the Taliban three days ago in the Sahudrak area of Kunduz.

According to Rahmani, Daesh or ISKP does not exist in Kunduz, and the areas where the traffic police officer lived and where he was shot are under Taliban control.

However, Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban, said the group had nothing to do with traffic officials who provided public services. He added that this method is related to Daesh.

On the other hand, residents and civil activists in Kunduz say that despite the widespread presence of the Taliban in Kunduz, the ISKP group has also started terrorist activities in the province.
