PUL-E-KHUMRI (SW) – A Baghlan Univeristy student and bus driver got killed as armed assailants attacked their bus in Pul-e-Khumri on Tuesday morning, said an official.
Reliable security sources in Baghlan told Salam Watandar that a bus carrying teachers and students of Baghlan University of Agriculture, came under armed assault by the Taliban. According to these sources, at least six people also got injured in this attack.
According to doctors at the Baghlan provincial hospital, the injured are in critical state.
The Taliban have denied involved in the attack. The group’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed said they have not carried out the attack.
