US authorizes commercial transactions with Afghanistan

MONITORING (SW) –  The U.S. Treasury on Friday issued a new general license authorizing all commercial transactions with Afghanistan’s governing institutions, expanding recently announced exemptions from sanctions against the Taliban and the Haqqani network.

Panic all over Ukraine as Russian forces continue to march on

MONITORING (SW)  – Explosions were heard in Ukraine’s second-largest city Kharkiv, which lies close to Ukraine’s eastern border with Russia, on Friday with the mayor telling residents to seek shelter from Russian missiles in subway stations, basements and bomb shelters, Reuters news agency reported.

IE forces directed not to shoot at suspects

KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has instructed the Kabul Police Command in a five-point instruction that the security forces must not shoot anyone during the inspection.
