The Afghanistan office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says it has treated more than 24,000 people affected by earthquakes across the country.

In a post on X today (Thursday, Feb. 12), the organization said that these earthquake-affected people received treatment over the past year.

The ICRC also emphasized that providing emergency assistance and standing alongside people during times of crisis is very important.

A day earlier, the organization announced that in 2025 it had provided support to more than 218,000 people with disabilities in Afghanistan through seven physical rehabilitation centers.
