A tragic traffic accident in Samangan, has resulted in the loss of three lives, with 11 others, including women and children, left injured.
Hashmatullah Rahmani, the spokesman for the Samangan Police Command, reported that on Friday morning, a “580” model bus collided with a “Tunis” model vehicle in the Hazrat Sultan Bridge area of the province.
He added that as a result of the crash, three passengers from the vehicles lost their lives, while 11 others sustained injuries.
The injured individuals have been transferred to the Samangan Provincial Hospital for treatment.
According to Rahmani, the cause of the incident has been attributed to the drivers’ negligence.
Negligence, failure to follow traffic regulations, and poor road conditions are considered some of the main causes of traffic accidents in Afghanistan.
