Traffic accident in Kapisa leaves 5 dead, 3 injured

MAHMUD-E RAQI CITY (SW) – A tragic traffic accident in the district of Ala-Say, Kapisa, has resulted in the deaths of five people, including three women, and injuries to three others.

Abdul Fatah Faiz, spokesperson for the Kapisa Security Command, reported that on Wednesday morning, “Falankoch” type vehicle veered off the road and overturned in the Dara-e Kuti area of Ala-Say district.

Faiz added that the The injured have been transferred to hospitals in Kabul and Kapisa for treatment.

According to the Kapisa Security Command, this incident marks the fifth traffic accident in Ala-Say district over the past month.

The primary causes of traffic accidents in Afghanistan include driver negligence, failure to adhere to traffic regulations, and poor road conditions.
