KABUL (SW) – Security officials in Kabul have confirmed that an explosion in the western part of the city has resulted in one death and 11 injuries.
Khalid Zadran, spokesperson for the Kabul Security Command, stated that the blast was caused by a planted mine inside a Mercedes passenger vehicle in the Dasht-e Barchi area.
The explosion occurred on Sunday afternoon.
Zadran added that security forces have commenced their investigation.
No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
