Ghazni residents build school at their expense

GHAZNI CITY (SW) – In an inspiring move, residents of Nawor district of Ghazni have built a school at their own expense in the province.

This school is set to be built in the village of “Khawat Pudina” of Nawor district with a cost of 1.5 million Afghanis.

Miagul Sediq, Director of Publications of Ghazni Directorate of Education, told Salam Watandar that the construction of “Shahid Sekandar” school has been started by local residents and with the presence of education officials of the province.

According to the him, this school will have nine class rooms and modern equipment.

With the construction of this school, more than 300 students in this village will be able to study.

It should be mentioned that the residents of Nawor district have already built a number of schools and health centers with their personal expenses.
