FAYZABAD (SW) – A traffic accident on the route to Kohistan district of Badakhshan province on Thursday, resulted in five fatalities and 13 injuries.
Ehsanullah Kamgar, spokesperson for the Badakhshan Security Command, said that the incident occurred when 18 individuals were traveling in a Land-Cruiser type car towards Kohistan district.
He further mentioned that the condition of four of the injured is critical.
According to Kamgar, the cause of the incident was attributed to the vehicle veering off the road.
