POL-E KHOMRI CITY (SW) – Mohammad Sana Haqjoo, the district governor of Khost in Baghlan province, has reported to Salam Watandar that a car accident on Tuesday, in the Suchi Pass of the district resulted in 6 deaths and 3 injuries.
According to Haqjoo, the vehicle, a Folder model, was traveling from Khost to central Baghlan when it veered off the road at the top of the pass and fell down the hillside.
Confirming the incident, Sher Ahmad Borhani, spokesperson for Baghlan’s Security Command said that the accident claimed lives of six people, including three women, and left two children and one woman injured.
Four family members lost their lives as a result of the car accident.
The injured have been taken to the Khost district’s central hospital for treatment, with the condition of two individuals reported as critical.
