TVETD inks collaboration agreements worth 120 million Afghanis with 5 institutions

KABUL (SW) – The Technical Vocational Education and Training Department (TVETD) haa signed collaboration agreements worth 120 million Afghanis with five institutions on Sunday.

The agreements involve collaborations with the Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA), the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan, and three other institutions.

Fazal Rahman Fazel, the financial and administrative deputy of the TVETD, says that based on the signing of these five memorandums, more than a thousand young people will be provided with professional training in the of Kabul city, Badakhshan, Ghazni, Faryab, Herat, Parwan and Balkh provinces.

Meanwhile, Bakhturahman Sharaft, Head of the Afghanistan Railway Authority has expressed concerns about the shortage of professionals in the design, survey, and estimation departments, stating “these spots require more specialists.”

According to the information of the Technical Vocational Education and Training Department, 273 vocational training centers of this department are operating throughout the country.
