KABUL (SW) – Cenk Unal, the Turkish ambassador in Kabul, has stated that his country will not permit any political or military actions against the Islamic Emirate in Turkey.
Unal made these statements on Thursday, January 18, during a meeting with Mohammad Abdul-Kabir, Acting Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of Afghanistan.
The Afghan presidential palace (Arg), stated on the social media platform X account that during this meeting, the ambassador of Turkey emphasized the enhancement of Afghanistan-Turkey relations.
He added that Turkish businesspersons are prepared to invest in Afghanistan’s mining, electricity, and agriculture sectors.
Unal emphasized, “Turkey is ready to collaborate in the fields of education and higher education and supports the progress of Afghanistan. Turkey will not allow anyone to undertake political and military actions against the Islamic Emirate in Turkey.”
During the meeting, Abdul-Kabir expressed gratitude to Turkey for its assistance and cooperation with Afghanistan. He highlighted that, following the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, Turkish investors have found a favorable environment for investment in Afghanistan.
He added that the Islamic Emirate aims to foster positive relations with all countries and endeavors to enhance economic and transit ties within the region.
Abdul-Kabir expressed gratitude for Turkey’s stance for being opposed to any political and military activities against the Islamic Emirate, saying “Now, a joint and peaceful life has been established for all Afghans.”
