Britain Endeavors to Facilitate Integration of Islamic Emirate with the World, say experts

KABUL (SW) – Robert Chatterton Dickson, the Chargé d’Affaires of the UK Mission to Afghanistan met with Abdul-Kabir, Acting Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, and Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The focus of these high-level talks was the deliberation on the next steps for implementing the recent United Nations Security Council resolution on Afghanistan.

Dickson wrote on the social media platform X, characterizing the discussions with Islamic Emirate officials as constructive. He emphasized that the execution of the recent UN Security Council resolution on Afghanistan presents an opportunity to forge a brighter future for the citizens of Afghanistan.

According to the recent resolution of the United Nations Security Council regarding Afghanistan, a special representative is to be appointed to implement the recommendations of the independent evaluation of Feridun Sinirlioghlu the Special envoy of the UN for Afghanistan. Following the resolution, the objective is to ensure Afghanistan’s full integration into the global community by fulfilling international obligations and requirements.

The Afghan presidential palace (Arg), released a newsletter on Friday, quoting the charge d’affaires of the UK Embassy in Afghanistan, highlighting that Britain is actively working to integrate the Islamic Emirate into the global community and eliminate existing misunderstandings.

“The Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy said during the meeting that his country is in favor of permanent peace and stability in Afghanistan, and that is why it is working hard in the field of Afghanistan’s relations and interaction with the world. According to him, the world’s interaction with Afghanistan requires lasting political discussions and contacts, adding that his country wants to connect Afghanistan with the world and eliminate misunderstandings between them.”

However, experts in international relations believe that Britain plays the role of a mediator between the world and the Islamic Emirate and is trying to simplify the process of integrating the Islamic Emirate with the world.
